You will recall my quote of Spengler in my article on ahistory<\/a>, where he asserts that India had no history, and I clarify that it instead had a resistance network of stories<\/em> which prevented the creation of history. I think this was a good thing with regards to Indian society. Now I have learned that there was a very interesting person who thought it was a bad thing:<\/p>\n

What “grandeur” did Marx see in a potential India? What are the “historical energies” that he believed needed to be loosed on the country? Well, I guess I can answer that question from what I read of Marx.
